Twisted Hunt & More

Kabuki Creations is proud to be a featured sponsor in the next installment of the Twisted Hunt. For those of you that have done the hunt in the past, you know the drill. For those of you that haven’t, get ready for a screaming, kicking, hair pulling…rewardingly twisted time!

The theme for this hunt is Unseelie. For those of you that don’t know what that is, think dark and evil fairy. Now…Let’s get Twisted.

Once upon a time there was a lovely fairy haunt called the Lake of Tranquility. Here you could enjoy a nice warm summer breeze as you strolled along the sand, taking in the view of the sparkling cool water just waiting for you to take a dip. The Nymphaeaceae field, with its giant lily pads and fragrant water lilies, was the main attraction in the summer.

Far below the lake, in the territory of the Unseelie, ruled a dark queen. Her name was Queen Evidar, and she loved bringing misery to all those around her. One day she decreed that it was twisted day and that she wanted to be entertained in the light. With a flick of her wrist, she transported herself and her two favorite slaves, Mandic and Womvag, to a beautiful spot at the lake.

Her two puppets found themselves in the center of a delicate red & white water lily in full bloom. Womvag was thrilled with the beauty around her, her eyes darting to take it all in until the queen made herself comfortable on a lily pad and commanded, “Entertain me or I will send you back to the castle…to exact my pleasure in the dungeons.”

The couple knew exactly what kind of entertainment the queen meant, for no matter how hard she tried in the last few years to tear them apart; even turning them into Unseelie demons, she could not break them. Lately, she took delight in watching them show their love for one another physically while she made rude and snide comments. Not wanting to risk the queen’s wrath, Mandic took Womvag in his arms; whispering comforting words as their lips met in a searing kiss.

Unbeknownst to the couple or the queen, Princess Failig, daughter of the Seelie King, was watching from her own lily pad. Normally she would not interfere in Unseelie affairs, but the princess knew this couple, her court had been looking for them for a long time. Princess Failig waited until the couple were lost in each other, their auras mixing despite the ugly things Queen Evidar was spewing. As soon as their auras started to glow, she snapped her fingers and chanted a few words. “The Light beckons you.”

With a flash and brilliant golden blaze, the evil queen vanished and the lovers turned back into the beings of beauty and light they were always meant to be. Charity, as was her true Seelie name, threw her arms around her lover’s strong body and cried, “Neal, we’re home!”

And they lived happily ever after.
What? Because it’s Unseelie you didn’t expect to see a happy ending? Read the fine print. *evil laugh*

Wow, this one is wild! I don’t know how long the animation is, but it runs in a sequence from pushing aside the lid of the coffin all the way to hammering in the stake. There are also sound affects with it as well as the vampire kill tools. I’m not going to go into detail on this one, but it is a MUST HAVE, especially for role players and those of you that love creepy. You also get two versions of it, with and without the grave yard scene…so it’s 2 poses in one free gift!
